I've lived at the Berkshire for almost 2 years (the big building right next to the store. Everyone that works there is very friendly and courteous. If you are nice to them they are nice to you. You have to understand that they have to deal with homeless people outside of the building constantly and that is not their fault. They have called the police on them multiple times. It hurts their business but don't let that give you a bad impression about the establishment. It comes with the location... I have never had a problem with the store or the employee's. Anyone who says otherwise is prolly just stuck up and or doesn't understand how a city works... you're in Richmond. Grow up and stop complaining. You do not understand what they have to put up with... 10☆ for sure

the Davis market is legendary. The dude at the counter treats you with the disrespect of a lifelong friend. Nothing has a price tag, they just eyeball it and punch in a price. I'm pretty sure the register is broken. It's the kind of place where you have to double check the milk expiration date. There's a 60% chance of an altercation happening during your visit. it's the most fun you'll ever have in a convenience store

Greatest little market we have in the neighborhood. Totally recommend it. They've got all the convenient store items you need and the employees are friendly.

Strolling thru the neighborhood, and stumbled upon this gem of a convenience store! To start, the staff is by far the kindest group of people you’ll come across…Treated all patrons with kindness. Also, everything here is reasonably priced. Definitely will be back when in town again. ☺️

I love this store! I live at the Berkshire and everyone who works here is so friendly and I'm so excited to talk to them. The people outside the store are the main deterrent for other people. Which is unfortunate because they've tried to fix this problem multiple times. It's not their fault that a bunch of bozos hang out outside that annoy their customers. Honestly, just ignore them. They're not dangerous. Support this local business!

Davis Market is great! I always come here if I’m in need of a quick snack or drink. Adam is very hospitable and always treats his customers with respect. The chicken wings are also the bomb. Love having this place nearby!

Been living downtown for about 2 in a half years now and this is my go to place. They have a great selection of food from bacon egg cheese sandwiches to chicken over rice and steak over rice. Definitely check it out!

This is my favorite place to go. When I moved here, I saw that this was the closest shop to me. There’s a lot to choose from, they also have homemade food you can buy at the front. I like the Mac and cheese but my favorite is the cake slices. The staff here is incredible, they are always smiling and really fun to talk to. Big shoutout to the guy who works during nights, he’s absolutely incredible but this doesn’t discredit the others that work here, they are super.
